Florence + The Machine @ Rod Laver Arena

Four years after the last tour, it was a pleasure to see wonderful and bewitching Florence Welch spin her magic with yet another out-of-this-world performance, on the International Women’s Day no less.
Heilung @ Forum Theatre

Heilung was unlike any other live show I’ve been to, a mystical, otherworldly experience that’s part music concert, part ritual that seeks to connect with the ancient world of northern Europe.
Charlie the Cat at Five

At five years old, Charlie has matured a little bit but mostly remains the same silly, mischievous boy.
Avatar: The Way of Water – Film Review

It took a while but I eventually got around to watching that obscure little indie movie about blue cat people.
Harry Styles @ Marvel Stadium

I enjoyed the hits, charm and showmanship, but spending a couple of hours in a stadium packed with thousands of delirious screaming girls was a tad too much for this geriatric millennial*.
Child with Cat by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
The painting shows Julie Manet, the daughter of fellow artists Edouard Manet and Berthe Morisot, and her kitten who seems to be so blissed out in her lap it’s practically smiling. Children can be thoughtlessly cruel, so I assume that Julie was a nice kid to earn this kind of absolute trust from a cat.

The Banshees of Inisherin – Film Review

I finally caught up with this movie in which writer-director Martin McDonagh reunites Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell in a quirky, sad and darkly hilarious tale about severed friendship on a remote island.
Eat Drink Man Woman – Film Review

A delectable, heartwarming Taiwanese comedy-drama about dysfunctional family, food and sex.
