I’m a Russian-born Australian who lives in Melbourne. Creativity has always been very important to me, as a mean of self-expression and escape from everyday worries. I think I can fully credit the world of imagination for getting me through childhood and adolescence.
My blog is quite random and devoted to interests like movies, books, music, photography, travel, artwork, and my favourite computer role-playing games. And cats.
Some of my favourite things:
Eating Nutella with a spoon, Star Trek: The Next Generation, French Impressionists, the sound of a purring cat, Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, balmy evenings in summer, photography books, deep conversations, colour red, live gigs, belly dancing, the guitar solo in Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb, overthinking.
By the way, Yggdrasil is a giant cosmic ash tree which, in Norse mythology, spans the nine worlds. I’ve no idea how to pronounce it, but I always loved the word and I just feminised it a bit.
Hi there,
I stumbled across your blog while looking for Ultima 7: The Black Gate walkthroughs. I have to say, your tour of TBG is absolutely marvellous: charming, and fun, not to mention useful. I really enjoyed the architectural efforts in the post-game section. Thanks so much for writing it.
Best wishes from London
James
