Modes of transportation is this week’s topic from That Artsy Reader Girl. I didn’t expect to come up with so many darker book covers from the mystery and horror genres; planes, trains and automobiles are obviously a popular setting for things going terribly wrong!

1. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

2. Christine by Stephen King

3. Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

4. Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne

5. The Night Train to Berlin by Melanie Hudson

6. Thin Air by Kellie M. Parker

7. Dreamstalkers: The Night Train by Sarah Driver

8. The Langoliers by Stephen King

9. Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates

10. Red River Road by Anna Downes

I haven’t heard of any of these books.

These look good. It is worrying that travel seems to mean danger 😂
Have a great week!

I discovered the same thing! Most of the books on my list have darker mystery/thriller/horror themes. Interesting that transportation is so often a part of these types of reads.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
